Is the diagnostic really free?
Yes. You take a full timed section and get the complete ACT audit afterwards without entering a card. We'd rather you see the analysis before deciding anything.
What exactly is the "ACT audit"?
A question-by-question breakdown of the diagnostic: which concept each miss belongs to, how long it took relative to the pace you need, which choices were eliminated before answering, and the confidence rating given at the time. It ends with a ranked list of what's costing the most points.
Is this built for the 2026 enhanced ACT?
Yes. Section lengths, question counts and the concept weightings all follow the enhanced format — 50 English, 45 Math, 36 Reading, 39 Science.
How much time does it take each day?
A StudyMaxx level is typically 15–25 minutes. The plan is built backwards from your test date, so if there are fewer days left, the levels prioritise harder rather than getting longer.
Can we use it alongside a private tutor?
That's what Tutor View is for. Your tutor sees the same diagnostics you do, which means their hours go to the specific gaps instead of a general review.
Who is actually teaching the concepts?
Each of the 170+ concepts has a tutor explanation attached — a short walkthrough of how the ACT tests that specific idea and how to recognise it under time pressure. You watch the explanation, then practise questions on that one concept rather than a mixed set.
Do you support extra time?
Yes. An accommodation code applies time and a half to every timed test in the account.
